Welcome to Rugs Cleaning LLC. These Terms of Service govern the conditions under which we operate and provide our services to residential and commercial clients in Charleston, SC and surrounding areas.


1. Services Offered

Rugs Cleaning LLC provides the following services:

  • Carpet cleaning
  • Upholstery cleaning (sofas, chairs, cushions)
  • Mattress cleaning
  • Area rug cleaning
  • Commercial cleaning

Each service includes:

  • Deep cleaning
  • Sanitization
  • Deodorization

The intensity and method of cleaning vary depending on the condition of the item. We use eco-friendly and professional-grade products, chosen based on the specific need of each job.

2. Stain Removal Disclaimer

While we strive to deliver the best possible results, we do not guarantee 100% stain removal. Some stains may have chemically burned the fabric threads, making removal impossible without causing damage.

We will:

  • Inform you of any visible risks prior to cleaning
  • Apply safe and effective techniques
  • Use professional judgment to avoid damage
3. Damage and Risk Responsibility
  • We do not take responsibility for damage on:
  • Old, fragile, or pre-damaged fabrics
  • Fabrics previously treated with unknown or harmful chemicals
  • We do take full responsibility for any damage directly caused by our staff on previously intact materials.

All services are preceded by a pre-inspection. Any potential risks will be communicated clearly before we begin.

4. Service Scope Limitations

To protect client property and staff safety, the following policies apply:

  • We do not move heavy furniture (e.g., beds, dressers, large cabinets). Small furniture may be moved at our discretion.
  • We do not disassemble furniture.
  • We do not guarantee full stain removal when burn damage is present.
  • We do not clean full rooms with cluttered or blocked access to the item in question.
5. Photo & Video Policy

We document our work exclusively for quality control and promotional purposes.
No personal or identifying elements will be recorded.

We may capture:

  • Before-and-after photos
  • Close-up videos of the item being cleaned

We will never:

  • Show faces or personal details
  • Film or photograph private areas unless permitted

If the customer prefers no photos or recordings, we fully respect that request.

6. Appointment & Cancellation Policy

To reschedule or cancel a service, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
This allows us to manage our schedule efficiently and serve more clients promptly.

7. Payment Policy
  • Payments must be made on the day of service.
  • We accept:
  • Cash
  • Check
  • Zelle
  • Venmo

For large commercial jobs, a deposit is required to secure the appointment.
Upon request, we can provide an official invoice.

8. Late Payment Policy

Late payments may result in:

  • Service delays
  • Additional administrative fees (case-by-case basis)
  • Withholding future service until resolution

Commercial accounts with recurring contracts must comply with the terms stated in the service agreement.

9. Contracts
  • Residential clients: No contracts are required for one-time services.
    However, if you request annual or semiannual services, a written agreement will be offered.
  • Commercial clients: A signed contract is mandatory for recurring cleanings.
    Terms include payment conditions, frequency, and responsibilities of both parties.
